This round, I am proud to interview the man coding behind the scenes of NPX. Highly mysterious, amazingly great with numbers (especially with the numbers one and zero) and a man of a few words. Some say he wears his underwear on the outside like Superman, while others say he sleeps with his fishing boots on. Whatever the case, may I present to you .... ULTRAMAN.

NPX: Good morning and thanks for granting me this interview even though I know you are practically busy 24 hours a day and 7 days a week with background work of NPX.

Ultraman: No problem at all. In truth, I am never busy with NPX although I always pretend to look busy in front of the moderators. You know lah, as the admin here, one have to "pretend pretend" lah. Come on lah, I am sure admins of other forums are like me .... we do nothing! (laughs)

NPX: Oh dear! Fine, let's continue. What got you interested in photography?

Ultraman: Beautiful ladies my friend ... what else? (winks)

NPX: What's your favourite genre of photography? (eg. nature/portraits/landscapes/abstracts)

Ultraman: er hmmm, it had to be body abstracts ..... (wink)

NPX: Who are your photographic influences?

Ultraman: It had to be Hugh Hefner. (wink)

NPX: What kind of stuff do you put in your camera bag?

Ultraman: Milk bottles, water bottles, laptop, pencil case, handphone, diapers and milk powder. Those Lowepro bags are real great insulators of heat!

NPX: What's the most challenging aspect of shooting your favourite genre of photography?

Ultraman: I think for me is finding a willing subject and time.

NPX: What advice would you give someone who is interested in picking up your genre of photography?

Ultraman: Must be willing to experiment new angles and see things under a different light.

NPX: What are your thoughts on moderating photographers of feathered friends?

Ultraman: Shooting bird is a difficult but rewarding past time. If proper ethics are observed, the images produced can further the appreciation and understanding of the many bird species that we have in our globe. We have a good number of photographers in this forum, be it young or old, but if they are not ethical or try to be funny like keep asking people to redo redo their shots, I will BAN BAN BAN, DELETE DELETE DELETE user!!!! :)

NPX: Do you have a favourite 'delete' list? And how many?

Ultraman: Yes! Definitely. I have about two on my delete list. I have deleted these favourites before but my moderators have somehow reinstate them.

NPX: Why did your moderators reinstate them?

Ultraman: So I can delete them again when I feel like it lor. (laughs)

NPX: What are your views on avian photographers going into places they are not suppose to go into?

Ultraman: I am not so sure actually...but life is short.. so why not (wink)

NPX: Could you provide recommendations as how a newbie bird photographer can do to protect the welfare of the birds?

Ultraman: Firstly, I suggesting not eating chicken. (laughs) Hey, I am just a system analyst, I am not good at this. Ask me something about IT instead.

NPX: Ok, fine. So is it true that NPX have a redundant member deleting system?

Ultraman: 010101111000111001010100101001001010101

NPX: What is one thing you would like the world to have?

Ultraman: (in Miss Universe fashion) WORLD PEACE .......

NPX: This website is getting a lot of attention lately for its cozy online environment. Heard anything on the street about NPX yourself?

Ultraman: Yeah, someone commented we spend too much time beautifying and making the forum look good. I cannot imagine how would this forum worked out if its not even user friendly to start with.

NPX: Do you go birding with the NPX members?

Ultraman: Yes, of course. But only once so far. That was with Willis when we try to shoot a pigeon from a hide. He wore his camo outfit while I am in my working suit. (see picture below) Image:Ultraman01.jpg

NPX: Ok, thanks for granting me this interview.

Ultraman: No problem. 01010010001010010101010000010101011111
