I&#039;m probably the worst person to ask as I am still finding my feet in bird photography myself.  Flight shots haven&#039;t heavily featured in my repertoire so far and I know they are quite challenging.  There&#039;s heaps of people in this forum that would be more qualified to give you pointers.
